MPC57xx UART RS485 configuration with KIT

Dear all,

I am configuring MPC5744P DEVKIT for testing UART.

Have anyone configured it with RS485, RS232 in some way.

Kit contains IC 74LVC1T45 for creating differential signal.(Does it support RS485)

Does it require External IC for communicating with PC.

I am using SC11U serial data reader. To read tx and rx from uC.

I figured out on my own that we can use both 232 and 485 but with help of external IC i.e. MAX232 etc. I was able to setup using MAX232.
