Hi,

I want to build a data logger to capture the SDADC and SPT data transfer using the NEXUS/JTAG Aurora interface, is there any NEXUS/JTAG control document to illustrate how to configure and control via JTAG?  similar this as AN3283 for MPC5500...

Thanks!

Hi,

there's http://www.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/application-notes/AN4365.pdf for MPC56xx devices. It has not been updated for MPC57xx but it is still almost the same.

I have shared some scripts for JTAG access here:

Example JTAG access – Addendum to application notes AN3283 and AN4365

I made it working also on MPC5748G:

Hi,

After reviewing the information in your reply, it dose help on further

understanding the JTAG bit stream format to control the MPC55xx OnCE TAP,

and the control messages are match with the application note AN3283 and

AN4365 document.

Form MPC5775K, given the newly added radar signal mudules SDADC and SPT,

there shoud be a specific Nexus client TAP (is it NXMC2 mentioned in

AN5005? , is the opcode to this TAP 0xE? 5bit or 6bit? etc., ) and

associated control registors, my question is the JTAG protocol to gain the

access this particular Nexus client and the command format to control the

data tracing like:

SPT_ACQ_SDMA

SPT_DMA_PDMA

SPT_SEQ

It will help me a lot if there is a JTAG log file for MPC5775K...

Thanks

Hi,

code is 5bit:

Yes, it's NXMC2:

Unfortunately I have no real experience with this nexus client. Currently I can provide only information from the app note or reference manual...
