MPC5748G Cores

MPC5748G reference manual states it has 2 e200z420 cores and 1 e200z210 core but in the block diagram it shows e200z4 and e200z2 cores. what is difference between e200z420 and e200z4? what is difference between e200z210 and e200z2?

Hello,

there are more implementations of e200z4 core like e200z420 or e200z425. There are some tiny differences, but in general, all these sub-types are called e200z4.

The same situation is with e200z2 core.

From programmer view, only one core reference manual is provided (e200z4) and programmer does not have to consider these implementation details.
