## MPC5746R absolute maximum ratings for VDD_LV

Dear support,

customer is working on MPC5746R VDD_LV supply implementation using external DCDC converter.

In datasheet chapter "3 Absolute maximum ratings" there is a remark and its not clear what it really means :

4. 1.32 – 1.375 V range allowed periodically for supply with sinusoidal shape and average supply value below 1.275 V at
maximum TJ = 150 °C.

Would it be possible to explain it and provide a timing diagram showing what is exactly specified by this note ?

Hello Viktor,

Here is the feedback from design:

The notes specify what are the allowable VDD_LV conditions beyond the spec MaxVDD at 1.32V

Here it says what you are allowed to have for each range. From 1.32 – 1.375V, you can have some sine wave type of level, but must average out to be 1.275V. Like you can swing from 1.2 to 1.375V with Vrms of 1.275V.

Then between 1.375 – 1.45V, not more than 10 hours of it. Lastly between 1.45-1.5V (max rating), can only do 60s.
