Dear all,

I'm using MPC5744P and trying to make Flexpwm to output PWM45 signal to complementary output pins.

But even when MCTRL[IPOL] bit is set correctly, it is still PWM23 signal chosen.

I'd like to ask if anyone else encountered this problem before?

I found an errata (number 3511) similar to this but in other CPU (MPC567XK) https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/PXS30_0N72D.pdf

Thank you for reading!

Hi Thomas,

This is normally working on the MPC5744P.

The IPOL are buffered bits and do not take effect until a FORCE_OUT event takes place in the appropriate submodule. FORCE_OUT can be generated immediately upon SW FORCE, or based on several other HW signals (local reload/sysnc, master reload/sync, etc).

BR, Petr
