Hi,
I'm currently using MPC5607B controller where I want to check if there is a possibility to utilize a part of the Code Flash area for EEPROM emulation as well?
Since the Data Flash size is limited to 64KB, is there a possibility to use a part of the Code Flash to increase the Data Flash size (logically) to accommodate more data relevant for EEPROM emulation?
Request your feedback in this regard.
Thank you for your support.
Kind Regards,
Pavan
Hi,
yes, the Code Flash can be used for data storage / EEPROM Emulation too. Just bear in mind that the higher size of the flash block the fewer number of program/erase cycles can be done. See the Table 29 in

What about Bank 0 Sectors 1 and 2? They are 16Kb each.
