MPC5554 loss of clock testing

Hi,

I am planning to use the feature provided in MPC5554 Loss of Clock interrupt in case of clock loss. However, I did not get from the datasheet the method to test this feature. 

Please let me know if anybody know how to create the scenario for loss of clock which in turn generate interrupt?

Hi, you could connect EXTAL pin to ground for a while to initiate loss-of-clock. I guess on this device this cannot be initiated SW way.

Loss-of-lock condition should be possible to inject by changing of PLL frequency software way.
