Hello everybody,

is it possible to get the source code of the official MISR generator? I would like to implement an embedded application for Linus to check it.

Is there a different MISR generator for each SSD packet?

I have no ideas about how it is calculated, maybe it is too complex and I will have to find other ideas, so any additional info could be useful.

Thanks

Hello,

There is MISR generator for each version of flash. for example C55, C90, etc...

To get source code could be an issue. I will try to get in contact with author, but I am not sure if he is still in company and if he is willing to share it.

You can refer to reference manual for example:

Hi Peter,

thanks for the info. I saw the documentation and there are a lot of variables to manage, I think I will leave the management of this complexity to the users from your software tool.

Anyway, looking at MPC56 SSD documentation I found the parameter misrNum which is not clear to me. When should it be 2 and why? Isn't the MISR structure for MPC56 always composed by 5-words?
