Hi,

I am not sure about this. Maybe iSystem. I do not expect PE support SPT.

Best would be to ask debugger vendors for this.

Hi,Peter

Glad you answered,But I still have a question,if I want to debug the SPT kernels,e.g.decode SPT instructions,Single-step debug SPT instructions, breakpoint debug SPT instructions and so on.So I have to configure the SPT_CS_MODE_CTRL register, let the command sequencer into the debug state before i debug it?

If i do not do this, no matter what debugger can't debug it?

Hi Tao,

if you use the Lauterbach TRACE32 debugger for SPT, the debugger will modify the SPT registers automatically as required for Single Step etc. No manual modifications required. The SPT debugger is included in our JTAG Debugger for MPC5XXX without additional charges.

Best regards,

Reinhard
