Hi all,

           Actually, I have to find recent reset type(like software reset ,POR,core reset etc) in mcp5777c when two or more reset occurred .I couldn't find it because I didn't find any data to clear previous reset flag in RSR register. So,How could we clear this reset flag?Is there any other suggestion to find recent reset type?I am using s32 design studio IDE.

Hi, SIU_RSR register is read only and reflect last reset event, it is not cumulative.

However in certain circumstances it may contain multiple flags set, to be more specific PORS and ERS may be set together:

“The power-on reset input to the reset controller was asserted and no other reset source was acknowledged since that assertion of the power-on reset input, except an external reset.”
