Hi,

I am developing the automotive radar using the S32R274. Now,I already know the velocity which the radar detects the target. How do I know the velocity of the radar itself?

Thanks,

Ping

Hello,

the velocity estimation of a target from the radar sensor is always relative radial velocity, so it is the difference in velocity between sensor and target.
Absolute velocity comes from the vehicle sensors.
There is no way to know if the radar sensor is stationary from the target velocity information only.

regards,

Peter
