For a new MPC 5748G processor, do we need to enable the HSM?

For a new MPC 5748G processor, do we need to enable the HSM by writing DCF records ourselves? Or does is the HSM already enabled by factory settings?

Hi,

You need to enable it via DCF record.

All HSM parts are delivered with HSM disabled by default.
