Does MPC5744 LINFlexd can use the TJA1021 Lin tranceiver?

Because TJA1021 is the UART to LIN, so can MPC5744 LINFlexd use the TJA1021 Lin tranceiver?Is LINFlexd diffenrent from UART-LIN in physical transmission ?

Hi,

the LINFlexD module offers LIN mode, supports LIN protocol version 1.3, 2.0, and 2.1 and the TJA1021 is LIN transceiver, connection is normally possible using TXD and RXD pins. 

The transmit data stream of the protocol controller at the transmit data input (TXD) is converted by the TJA1021 into a bus signal. The receiver detects the data stream at the LIN bus input pin and transfers it via pin RXD to the microcontroller.
