Does MPC56xxx support external memories?

Hi

After searching the datasheet of MPC56xxx, I have a question about the external memories.

I did find information about if MPC56xxx support external memories, such as DDR and Flash, in the datasheet.

I'm wondering if the chips do have the function, and if they do, with which I/O to fulfill the function? If not, with the limited RAM and flash inside, how can the chips work  in good condition?

Thanks.

Following devices have external bus interface (parallel bus) allowing connection of external SRAM or external FLASH:

MPC55xx, MPC5675K, MPC5644A, MPC5674F, MPC5676R, MPC5777C, MPC5777M

MPC5645S and MPC5675K device has DRAM interface allowing connection of dynamic RAMs of type Mobile-DDR, DDR1 and DDR2 (in case MPC5675K it uses same pads as EBI, thus user must choose between EBI and DRAM controller).

SPI flash can be connected to the chip, but external SRAM can not to use

To serial memories:

SPI memories can be used with all MPC5xxx devices. Some of them also offer I2C interface what can be an option as well.
