Checksum field in LIN frame ?

For LIN module on MPC5777M and MPC5748G, checksum part is necessary written by programmer or not ? If necessary then how to calculate the checksum to fill in LIN master frame ? and in which register I have to write that checksum result ?

So, if you set CCD bit in LINCR1 register to 0, checksum is calculated by hardware.
