Can 5646C Ethernet driver apply on 5748G?

I am using MPC5748G EVB and want to use the Ethernet module. I found AN4577 for 5646 Ethernet, and I wonder if I can apply it on 5748G. I noticed that in the reference manual, the Ethernet module structure seems different.
