Hi Team NXP,

Please help us in knowing the sequence of steps to fix the following issue: (No secure keys are stored yet, default chip

- Observation 1CSE2 engine runs fine for those CMDs (commands) that doesn't involve access to memory for its functioning: Like INIT_RNG and CMD_RND (Random Number Generation). No error codes generated here.

- Query : Whenever CMDs like : GET_ID or LOAD_PLAIN_RAM_KEY are executed (which involve CSE2 accesses to memory), we get : "SYSTEM MEMORY ERROR".

- Test Context : The chip is in its default configuration (No MPU configured, Chip is hardwired by NXP to work in default PARALLEL_SECURE_BOOT (Can't be disabled or its mode cannot be changed by user), CSE2 Clocks are taken care, Tests carried out after MCU Init. (The stack on which CSE2 is integrated is a working stack w.r.t other peripheral).

Request

- Please mention checklist on how to know the ROOT_CAUSE for CSE2_Error_Code : "SYSTEM_MEMORY_ERROR". (What all modules need to be checked to fix this)

- Is DMA a mandatory for PARALLEL_SECURE_BOOT ? How it can be taken care ?

- Let us know if you need more information.

We await your quick response and thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,

J.G. Lakshmi Kanth (Senior Research Engineer).

Hi,

[Lukas] Let's start with https://community.nxp.com/message/1277148?commentID=1277148&et=watches.email.thread#comment-1277446

... to confirm it's not SW issue.

- Is DMA a mandatory for PARALLEL_SECURE_BOOT ? How it can be taken care ?

[Lukas] I'm not sure if I can understand. What about DMA?

Regards,

Lukas
