On the NXP website and in distribution I am find the following parts numbers

with a K1 mask rev. I do not see any K0A.

  SPC5746CSK1MKU6

  SPC5748GSK1MKU6

What mask set is associated with K1 ?? Do these have new ISO CAN-FD support ??

K1 is earlier mask set 1N81M. It has original non-ISO implementation of CAN FD module.

I'm not sure about launch date of new mask set but it should be available in the near future, I hope.

I don't think so... By coincidence, I received a few new boards a short time ago (DEVKIT-MPC5748G and daughter boards for MPC574XG-MB) and there were older silicon mask sets 1N81M. It can be used too but only in non-ISO CAN FD mode. So, it will take some time till the new mask sets will be used in EVBs. Solution is to order the MCUs separately (you need board with socket in this case).

Hi,

following devices have been updated to be compliant with the new ISO spec:

MPC5748G - new mask set is 0N78S, part numbers SP574xC/GxK0Axxxx(R) ("K0A" says that there's mask set 0N78S)

MPC5746C - new mask set is 0N48S, part numbers SP574xB/C/DxK0Axxxx(R) (there's "K0A" as above...)

MPC5777C - new mask set is 3N45H, part numbers SPC5777CxK3xxx ("K3" says that there's mask set 3N45H)

And the MPC5775K is compliant - the update was not needed because the CRC was already fixed...

Regards,

Lukas
