5668G Lin slave

Hello!

I currently have two boards with the 5668G MCU on, where both acts as LIN masters.

For my own training, I would like to setup one of the boards as an slave, and make the boards to communicate with eachother using LIN.

I have looked in the reference documentation for 5668G, and I can see that it is only written that the eSCI module can act as an LIN master, but I'm guessing that it is possible to make the eSCI act as an slave also.

Does someone have any code example on how to make the eSCI module act as LIN slave?

Regards

Mattias

Hi,

yes, it could be possible to emulate partial LIN slave functionality on eSCI module, but there is no HW support for LIN slave and all must be done by SW.

I found one example so you can refer to it.

Thanks a lot! I will look into the example more deeply, but after a quick glance at it, it looks promising
