Wake up time benchmark i.MX93 from different sleep modes

Hello everyone,

we would like to use the i.MX93for a GUI application which after some time enters a sleep mode. Now I would like to know if anyone has an idea how long it takes from the sleep mode to be fully operational again. I thought I have seen a table somewhere (for at least the time until the Linux terminal is ready) with the related benchmarks, but I can't find it anymore in the documentation.

Does anyone know where the documentation is or has even self measured or tested how long it takes to wakeup? The wakeup sources are the M33 LPUART or an attached touchscreen.

Best regards, Mike

Hello,

All of the documentation is on this page, and there doesn't seem to be the documentation you describe.

https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i-mx-applications-proces...

You can remeasure the time according to AN14205.

Best Regards,
Zhiming

Hello Zhiming Liu,

thank you for your response, but these are not the measurements I had in mind. I am pretty sure, I found a documentation somewhere around where the time from leaving different sleep modes till the point where Linux terminal is ready for new inputs was measured. But sadly I cannot find this document anymore.

Best regards, Michael

Hello Zhiming,

I am pretty sure it was the NXP website. The page had almost the exact same look like the power benchmarks you posted in the previous answer.

In one column there where the different sleep modes listed and in one of the other colums there were the times until Linux terminal is ready for input. Maybe there were a few columns in between, but these were the ones which were important for my use case.

Best Regards,
Michael

Hello Zhiming,

thanks for your effort and time regarding my question.

I will mark your last post as solution for now. If I stumble upon the documentation I meant later, I will link it here.

Best regards,

Michael
