Issue with installation of SBL Master, GCC-ARM freeware tool.

Hi,

I'm using the  RT1170 SBL ISP download SDRAM APP - NXP from the NXP Community and the document MCUOTASBLSFWUG.pdf  as references for my project to implement U-disk OTA. After installing the SBL Master and ARM GCC tools from the links provided below, I received warning popups, as shown in the attached screenshots.

Following this, my IT team advised me to uninstall the tools due to a potential malware threat that occurred on my laptop. I would like to confirm whether the links provided are from a trusted source. If not, I kindly request your assistance in downloading the correct version of the SBL Master tool and in understanding the process for performing U-disk OTA on the i.MX RT1060 MCU.

Hi,

It may come from the Windows security warning, but this project is no longer maintained as it comments (https://github.com/nxp-mcuxpresso/sbl), it is recommended that you use the SDK.

Note: This project is not under active development now. For actively maintained examples of second stage bootloader based on MCUBoot see the latest release of MCUXpresso SDK.
