The MCXN features up to 512 KB of RAM, which can be configured as up to 416 KB with ECC (supporting single-bit correction and double-bit detection). For more details, refer to Chapter 30, Error Recording Module (ERM), in the Reference Manual.
Additionally, it includes the SCG module, which contains a clock monitor capable of detecting the loss of an external clock (when enabled) and identifying changes in clock frequency. See Section 34.3.3, SCG LOC Operation, for more information.
The Kinetis K26 includes the Multipurpose Clock Generator (MCG) module, which features an external clock monitor with reset and interrupt request capabilities. This allows detection of external clock failure when operating in FBE, PEE, BLPE, or FEE modes. Refer to Chapter 27, Multipurpose Clock Generator (MCG), for further details.
