Applicability of normal and Reduced drive strength in MC912DG128ACPVE microcontroller

Hello,

Writing this to get confirmation on does the normal and reduced drive strength are applicable to  IIC config on the Port IB or is it just for pins configured as IO.

Hi,

the data sheet states...

"These bits select reduced drive for the associated port pins. This
gives reduced power consumption and reduced RFI with a slight
increase in transition time (depending on loading). The reduced drive
function is independent of which function is being used on a particular
port."
