Support for Micron MT25QL02GCBB QSPI NOR flash

Hi all,

We are preparing bringup of a custom board based on i.MX RT1170. The MCU is populated with a Micron MT25QL02GCBB QSPI NOR flash, through the secondary FlexSPI interface, secondary pin group.

We noticed that Micron_MT25QLxxxA is supported by SPT. AFAICS from the datasheet, the stack is the difference - the higher capacity is realized through 4 dies rather than 1. Question is whether it makes a difference and we can simply select the MT25QLxxxA for SPT flashing?

Hi @mns ,

all FlexSPI NOR memory configurations in SEC tool are just templates. After applying the configuration from a template, you can tweak all the parameters and adjust for your needs. The configuration dialog also contains "Test" button allowing immediately test the selected parameters.
