Where is the SE050 SDK Package for i.MX RT 1050?

In this video on the NXP YouTube channel I can see a package to use the SE050 with i.MX RT 1050 is provided: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKqbC-ipcr

However on the EdgeLock SE050 page there is only an SDK Package for i.MX RT 1060. Where is the package for i.MX RT 1050? Furthermore the MCUXpresso SDK for i.MX RT 1060 from the SDK builder includes the se_hostlib packages and a few samples (such as se05x_minimal) , whereas the i.MX RT 1050 SDK does not. Why is this? Where can we get the relevant SE050 SDK files for i.MX RT 1050?

The only major functional difference between these two MCUs is the additional 512k OCRAM on the 1060 which the 1050 does not have, this does not explain why the SDK package only appears to be published for one of the two.

Hi @TomGibson ,

Actually there was some earlier version supporting i.MX RT 1050 , but now it is discontinued and supports 1060 instead. so it is still possible to use the packet for 1050 but with old MW, alternatively you have to port the latest 1060 package to 1050, please kindly refer to the porting guide as below for details.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN12448.pdf

Hope that helps,

Have a great day,
Kan
