Unable to import MCUXpresso SDK into MCUXpresso IDE

I am trying to install the SDK for i.MX 8M Plus. For this, I have built and downloaded the SDK (SDK_25_03_00_EVK-MIMX8MP). While importing the SDK into MCUXpresso IDE v24.12.148, it is showing an error(mcuxpresso ide was unable to load one or more sdk(s). this may be because the sdk(s) was not created for the mcuxpresso ide or your ide is not up-to-date).

Below, I have mentioned the steps that I followed. Kindly help to resolve this issue.

Step 1: Selected the i.MX8MP at the board selection in MCUXpresso SDK Builder and built the SDK.

Step 2: After downloading the SDK, I opened the MCUXpresso IDE > Installed SDKs, and dragged and dropped the .zip SDK file into the Installed SDKs section. After that, an error window popped up. I have attached the screenshot of it.

Kindly help to resolve this issue.

Thank you for contacting NXP Support!

Unfortunately MCUXpresso IDE is not compatible with the SDK of iMX processors.

You can follow the AN14120 to compile and debug the iMX8MP using IAR IDE or Visual Code.
