I am looking at the SDK Documentation for MIMXRT1170-EVKB SDK 2.15 SDK. Specifically at
SDK_2_15_100_MIMXRT1170-EVKB\docs\FreeRTOS\Getting Started with MCUXpressoSDK and FreeRTOS OS.pdf
According to the document there are multiple examples for FreeRTOS under
<SDK_DIR>/boards/<board>/rtos_examples/ folder folder.
How ever there is no rtos_examples folder under the /evkbmimxrt1170/ :

Thanks your question. Please make sure if there are RTOS compoments in your build SDK, I assum you using REL_2.15.100_MINOR_RFP, and please select RTOS before you build https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/en/builder?hw=MIMXRT1170-EVKB&rel=831 please see below screeshot shown.

I do have FreeRTOS in my 2.15.100 SDK and I do use FreeRTOS in my projects.
I also have some examples with FreeRTOS as part of this SDK.
The SDK was built using "Select All" button, so I guess it includes all.
The issue is the SDK also include the documentation, specifically \SDK_2_15_100_MIMXRT1170-EVKB\docs\FreeRTOS\Getting Started with MCUXpressoSDK and FreeRTOS OS.pdf, that lists the whole folder of other FreeRTOS samples that are not available using "Import SDK example(s)" and can't be found in the unzipped SDK in the folder mentioned in the documentation.
So my take on this, if those examples are obsolete - the documentation should be updated appropriately. If they are not obsolete - they should be included back in the next version of SDK.
