LPC5526: no example projects in SDK?

Hi there,

After playing with the lpcxpresso55s28 developer board, I created a custom board for the LPC5526.

Thus I installed the LPC5526 SDK.

Now I'm looking for example projects, e.g. simple led blinky and UART examples, but can't find one.

This is what I see after clicking on "Import SDK example(s)..." (in Quickstart panel) and clicking on "LPC5526" (under SDK MCUs):

As you can see, the wizard shows no boards for LPC5526.

I wonder why this is as the LPC5526 SDK clearly contains a folder "boards" which contains a folder "lpcxpresso55s28" which contains examples:

Is this a bug in the import example projects wizard?

Hello danielholala,

Because there is no DEMO board with lpc5526, the SDK demo only for board.

While you can use the demo LPC55s28 on lpc5526 with a little change refer to your own board.

For example LED pins, UART port.

Thank you for your response. I know that there is no demo board for the LPC5526. 

Yes, I want to use the example code for LPC55S28 on LPC5526 and change GPIOs, UART, etc so the code works with my own board.

As I mentioned, there is example code included in the LPC5526 SDK for LPCxpresso55S28 demo board, see below:

However, the "Import SDK example(s)" wizard does not show the board when clicking on LPC5526. I consider this a bug! 

Workaround:

To select the board, click on LPC55S28. This makes two lpcxpresso55S28 demo boards appear. Now select the board that has the LPC5526 SDK associated with it.
