Can I use the MIMXRT1050-EVKB SDK for the board MIMXRT1050-EVK ?

Hi,

I have a MIMXRT1050-EVK (not EVKB) and when I want to download the SDK for the EVK, I found that it is not recommanded (As indicated in the picture I attached).

So my question is : since the MIMXRT1050-EVK SDK is not recommanded, Can I use the MIMXRT1050-EVKB SDK for the board MIMXRT1050-EVK ? Will I have problems

I am inteding to make project using UART communication between two boards (STM32F7 and MIMXRT boards)

Hi Wassim,

I'm using the SDK for the EVKB for both the EVK and EVKB board, and for me things are much better with the EVKB SDK version, see as well i.MX RT1050 EVK vs. EVKB | MCU on Eclipse .

Thanks for the info, I will use the SDK of EVKB for the EVK. I don't think there will be a problem
