Recently I updated my MCUXpresso to 11.6.0. When I went to "SDK Management" > "Manage SDK components", I found the new item "Board Support" in the tab "Project Template". I deselected the item because I do not want to generate template files in the board directory automatically, but I went to "Manage SDK components" again, the item was selected again and the files were automatically generated. I am using a mex file and generate files in the directory by "Update Code" of the Config Tools. Could anyone please tell me how to make "Board Support" deselected permanently?

You asked "Could anyone please tell me how to make "Board Support" deselected permanently?" , can you please send me a screenshot of what you mentioned?

However MCUXpresso SDK demo codes are based and tested on demo board. If user board specific peripheral is different as demo board, user needs to adjust demo code for your specific board design.

Thank you so much for your swift reply. I attached the image of the Board Support.

 

I totally agree with you. I have to adjust my codes for my board. However the Board Support was automatically selected and files were overwritten with the template ones whenever I go to "Manage SDK components", even if I had deselected it in the management window before. Then I have to readjust overwritten files, so I would like to make the Board Support deselected permanently and avoid the situation.
