As far as I can tell, I have an IMXRT1050-EVK (not B) - yet, when I go to build an SDK, it only references EVKB under boards supported. I attached a screen shot highlighting what I am referring to. Is the SDK for EVKB backward compatible or no?
I originally didn't think anything about it, but after reading this thread iMXRT1050-EVKB runtime difficulties with project based on EVKB SDK v2.3.1 I'm wondering if I am experiences issues related to this.
I am able to download programs however I cannot debug them. The debugger seems to silently detach and hang and when I try to stop the debugger, MCUXpresso stops responding until I kill the GDB server.
I am using PE Micro's Multilink Universal FX.
Hello steve_n,
I am using PEMicro Multilink Universal debugger.
I too have the same problem. However, I am able to debug by running it again.
After programming, restart the iMXRT board. Then debug using the 'Attach on running target' option. That should enable you to debug using the debugger.
Hello Stephen Noonan,
It seems the Multilink Universal FX doesn't support programing code into hyperflash of RT1052 ,
I using it test on IMXRT1050-EVKB board, also failed.
Please use the on board debugger , DAP-LINK firmware . Or LPC-link2.
