Why doesn't MCUXpresso IDE show recent (plugin) SDKs for LPC5536?

Hi there,

running MCUXpresso IDE 11.8.0, I downloaded and installed the plugin SDK for LPC5536. However, the version isn't 2.14.0 but the outdated 2.10.2:

Why is this?

I clicked on the "Refresh SDKs repository info" button but to no avail. Further, I checked the User Guide searching for instructions on how to update the list of plugin-SDKs but found nothing.

I must be missing something. Please advise.

Thanks.
Daniel

Hi,

just checked whether a "plugin" SDK for LPC5536 would be offered in:

https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/eclipse/sdk/2.14.0/artifacts.xml.xz

but there is none. So it's no wonder the "download and install plugin SDK" wizard does not offer any.

However, SDK builder provides SDK 2.14.0 for LPC5536. So I will have to resort to this classic "file system" SDK to get the recent SDK for my device.

PS: all available SDK versions are listed here:

Indeed, SDK 2.14 for that MCU was not deployed to the update site. We have an internal ticket tracking this, so it will addressed soon. You already found a workaround.
