The build is very slow after newly installing v10.1.1. I am connected to a Rigado R41Z board.

Today, everything looks as it should and the build(compile) time of each system are about equivalent, that is about 35 seconds now after a Clean using 24_OpenSDA_FRDM-KW41Z.bin. I had just updated to the latest SDK_2.x_FRDM-KW41 2.2.0  with both IDE v10.0.2 and v10.1.1 loaded. I most likely had a many other applications running also. So not exactly sure why this happened, but working fine now and with both systems loaded. Host  is Windows 7 Professional. Hardware - a Dell Precision M4700.

We certainly would not expect to see any major differences in the time taken to build projects in the two releases. And we have not received any customer reports of this either.

What host OS are you running on? And if you do a clean, then build of your project, on both IDE versions - what sort of build times are you seeing?

Note - the usual suspect in these sorts of situations is virus protection software.
