I just got a QN9080 Dk evaluation board. I tried running the example as shown in video

QN9080DK: A highly extensible platform for application development of QN908x|NXP

but when I tried to debug I am getting following error:

Error in final launch sequence
Error: Unable to configure core for probe index 1.
Wire not connected

LinkServer has been terminated and will be restarted.
Please restart your debug session.
If the problem recurs, please power cycle your debug probe and restart MCUXpresso IDE.

I reinstalled the software and drivers and tried it on multiple PC.But the error doesn't go away.

Kindly let me know where I am going wrong.

Please try putting a jumper on the JP15 header before you power up the board and try to start a debug session (as per https://community.nxp.com/thread/478046 )

You might also find this earlier thread useful : Wire not connected on Q9080-DX LinkServer

Hello ,

How can the receiver be inactive and will turn on only when an activity is

detected?

Hello Royan,

In Bluetooth Low Energy, the radio turns on periodically for a short period of time and if the macro cPWR_UsePowerDownMode is defined, the MCU will enter a low power mode during this period where the radio is inactive to save energy.

I shorted the JP15 and also pressed the reset button when debugging.  Now it seems to be working fine. But I think you can't do without shorting the jumper as shown in the video. If anybody has other solution .Please post.

Thank You
