I have troubles in getting started with the LPCXPresso1769/cmsis-dap board in LPCXpresso IDE 8.2.2.

I installed the device driver in Windows 8.1 and it shows as COM/LPT Device "NXP LPC11Uxx VCOM (COM4)".

When i try to debug/run the blinky example there is an error: Connect to Emulator NXP LPC17xx...

(see the attached Pictur)

What can i do?

Hello Jun Zhang,

I followed the instructions you gave me and reinstalled the driver for windows but i could not get the LPC board to show up as "CRP DISABLD" storage device. Studying the schematics i found that there is an error in the quick reference card that came with my board and the reset and ISP switch labels are swapped but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem.

It might help to solve the problem to know that i could never get the LED 7 to be on, but power and reset switch LEDs are working correctly.

I also tried with a different cable as some cables (e.g. from chargers) don't have any data lines but my cables are just fine, i checked them with a multimeter.

Did you install the MBED serial driver? See https://os.mbed.com/handbook/Windows-serial-configuration

The latest probe firmware for the LPCXpresso-CD boards can be referenced via: New debug probe firmware & drivers for MAX boards

And you might also want to read through this ticket : LPCXpresso LPC1769 (OM13085) Can't find debug Probe
