Close to giving up on NXP. Freescale had it's problems, but never like this.

Oh I see. Answering my own question. Someone had suggested editing MCUXpressoIDE.app/Contents/Info.plist as a workaround for some other bug. Because I touched a file in the bundle, you *must* codesign it to fix the problem (or reinstall).

So
% sudo codesign --force --sign - /Applications/MCUXpressoIDE_11.6.1_8255/ide/MCUXpressoIDE.app
fixed the problem.

Has anyone tried this? (I reinstalled, but it looks like installing a plug in makes it happen, so perhaps you guys could try and reproduce this?)

Try to install the EGit plug in as this is the only on I have installed.

I have the lasted version of eclipse and I installed several plug in and it seems fine. OF course that is a later version on Eclipse 2022-12 (4.26.0)

As already mentioned in that thread, we do not have a fix we can do now in MCUXpresso IDE side. All Eclipse-based products seem are affected by this.
