I've recently asked this question. Digging a little bit, I discovered the problem is with MCUXpresso IDE 11.0.1. The plugins can be installed in the last version 11.0.0. This is the error I'm getting:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=DefaultProfile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: binary,MCUXpressoIDE.executable.gtk.linux.x86_64,11.0.0.201908271452
I don't know if this is a backward compatibilty error of the IDE or a bad configuration on the plugin providers' servers. Any help is appreciated, I want to use the newest version but this is stopping me.
First point to note - we don't support MCUXpresso IDE on Fedora, we only develop and test on "recent" Ubuntu LTS releases. But that aside, one thing to try might be to start the IDE using sudo.

It was solved by running as root. Thanks for your help.
