Hello,

I am using the TWR-KE18F board, but I can not use the SWO Trace function.

The following error message is displayed when using it.
“Failed to configure the probe for SWO-may not be supported with this firmware.”

Is the SWO Trace function not available on the TWR-KE18F board?
Please tell me what to do.

My environment is as follows.
・ TWR-KE18F board
・ MCUXpresso IDE v11.0.0
・ Windows 7 64bit

Best regards.

Both your debug connector needs to have the SWO pin available and your debug probe needs to support it (e.g. the LPC-Link2 does support it). Can you check the schematics of your board if that pin is available on the connector?

I hope this helps,

Erich

Hi Erich,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I checked the TWE-KE18F board schematic.
There was a pin corresponding to SWO.
The contents of the link are very helpful.
Thank you for the advice.

Best regards.
