MCUXpresso will automatically set up the debug configuration with the needed algorithm for the MCU selected. You can manually change depending in the Debugging interface that you are using with the "debug configuration" option. I recommend you checking the 11.1.1 Debug Launch of the User Guide document located in the path C:\nxp\MCUXpressoIDE_Version
