Hi,
I've seen that in the past there is a tool (Kinetis Motor Suite) to design a motor control system
but I don't find it yet on NXP site.
Where I can find it?
Is there something similar integrated with Mcuxpresso?
Is there any updated documentation to start with a new project in McuXpresso?
Thank you in advance.
Hello Fabio,
The Kinetis Motor Suite is an out-dated software, at the moment what we recommend is to use FreeMASTER. FreeMaster is a run time debugging tool that allows the user to create GUIs to fit their needs for their application, such as implement graphs, motor control, etc.
For the KV31F for example, you can find examples in the SDK for motor control that are FreeMASTER projects.
You can run these examples to see how these complement each other and can help you customize your application.
The exmaples in the SDK for motor control with FreeMASTER are called:
mc_bldc & mc_pmsm
Best Regards,
Sabina
