Hello, NXP technical support
I'm currently working on an rt1170 UDS bootloader upgrade project. Since the flashdriver is solidified in Pflash, there might be security risks. Therefore, I want to create a flashdriver file, download it from the upper computer to the RAM of the rt1170 and run it, and then upgrade the program. But now I don't know how to make this flashdriver. Therefore, I would like to ask FAE if they can tell me how to make it, or if there is a DEMO project for making Flashdrives with rt1170. Could you provide it?
Thank you
Hello @ywjack,
For RT1170 UDS bootloader upgrades, creating a RAM-executed flashdriver is a smart move for enhanced security. NXP’s MDK RAM app guide offers step-by-step instructions and demo setup for RAM-based execution. You can also use MCUBootUtility for deployment. Highly recommended to consult NXP FAE for tailored flashdriver creation.
