Can the MCUXpresos SDK FreeRTOS drivers be easily ported to Keil RTX or other CMSIS RTOS?

Hi guys,

I was wondering how easy it would be to use the MCUXpresos SDK FreeRTOS drivers with another RTOS such as Keil RTX or anything CMSIS compliant?

If the answer is that it's not easy, would it perhaps be a good move to look at supporting CMSIS RTOSes as FreeRTOS also has a CMSIS layer?

Many thanks

Hi Alistair:

The MCUXpresso SDK includes a flexible peripheral drivers, it is easy to port to different OSes. In fact , the earlier SDK version 1.x support FreeRTOS, ucOSii , ucOSiii, MQX.  I think it not difficult to port it to RTX or other OSes.
