MCUXpresso Config Tools v4.0 unusably slow

Hello,

I am trying to use MCUXpresso Config Tools to configure a LPC546428. I have defined all my IO but now as I try to configure peripherals it is quickly becoming unusably slow. I am trying to configure GPIOs and their directions and each time I click on any of the drop downs I get a busy cursor for up to a minute.

I have tried on both Windows and Mac with the same results. At this point it would be quicker to read the entire data sheet and do this manually!!

Please help.

Andy

Thanks for looking into this. Glad to hear its being fixed.

Unfortunately this time I couldn't wait and had to do things manually.

Hallo Andy,

we have checked the project and reproduced the behavior. The problem has been already fixed in the upcoming version of the MCUXpresso config tools V4.1 that is currently being finished and is planned to be released in May. The new Config Tools V4.1 also provide simplified GPIO experience so the GPIO features (output, init state) of the pins can be set directly within the Pins tool in the routed pins table.

The only workaround (until the new version is available) probably is to do GPIO setup in the code manually.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

best regards

Hello Andy,

is it possible to share the MEX file so we can analyze where is the bottleneck?

Thank you,

Libor
