MCUEXpresso v5 installer - upgrade issue

With windows 10 64 bit.

The MCUEXpresso Config Tools v4.1 installer added a new 4.1 version alongside the old v4.0 version.

The v5 installer gives you option to:- modify, repair or remove.

Modify & repair only install the V5 PDF documentation and v5 un-installer.

Question:-

Do I need to remove MCUEXpresso v4.0 and v4.1 before installing the new v5

Hello George,

normally you do not need to uninstall the previous Config Tools - they can live together alongside each other. I tried your case on my computer (Win10 64bit like you) - I installed 4.0, then 4.1 and finally 5.0. No one wanted to "repair". I guess you did not have "Beta" version of Config Tools 5.0 - right? You can try to uninstall the 4.1 version (before consider creating a copy of c:\nxp\MCUX_CFG_v4_1 folder) in advance before installing 5.0. I am interested if the repair dialog is show after that or not (when installing 5.0).
