Peripheral Detection Timeout with direct call rom bootloader

Hello,

is there a way to enable the Peripheral Detection Timeout defined in BCA with direct call to bootloader? It seems if I call the runBootloader function than the timeout is disabled. Maybe there is a way like the passed argument or something else.
