Good morning, I want to ask if meta-nxp-desktop will be continued as "Ubuntu reference distribution"? 

Currently there is no support for scarthgap for our customers it would be important to have an Ubuntu running on the Layerscape cpus.

The meta-nxp-desktop is the NXP EP Linux BSP for desktop PoC (Proof of Concept), which is demo the EP i.MX/Layerscape SoC capability to enable Ubuntu.

The last release is 6.1.55-2.2.0-mickledore. And we stop to release on the new BSP releases.

Ubuntu is the trademark of Canonical, and NXP does not give the license permission from Canonical.

So our PoC project is just for the capability demo and NXP EP SW team will not provide any custom support as declared during the release.
