Firstly, for the frame annotation.

One function in MC need to be enabled: dpni_set_buffer_layout(). , which is not enabled by default. Than another function in kernel can be used to enable this feature: dpni_buffer_layout()

For the CTLU configuration. we had configured it in MC, for classification function, must configure CTLU jet, so please supply us more detailed info about the CTLU requirement.

Hi @yipingwang

so we can getting very slow frame rate on 10G interface as per doc section 7.3.1 (LS1088A family DPAA2 low level hardware reference doc)  we can get max upto 30Mpps bit rate for 64B packets we are getting very less

as mention in doc below settings are required

Assumes the following WRIOP usage:
• Frame annotation is enabled in ingress flow for packets on recycle path port destined
to GPP.
• Frame annotation in egress flow is disabled for framed which are dequeued.
• Frame annotation in egress flow is enable for frames which are enqueued in frame
confirmation
• Frame annotation length is 64B and frame annotation is 64B aligned, for all flows with
frame annotation enabled
Assumes the following CTLU usage:
• 3 EM table lookups with lookup key <=24 bytes (that is, single entry lookups).
• 4 Key Composition (3 for the lookups and one for QDbin generation for distribution).
• TimeStamp in result (Counter degrades the performance significantly)
• 8% of the frames are a result of replication (that is, if frames are replicated x4, then 2%
of the incoming frames may be replicated).

and we are clueless how to make it happen

hi @yipingwang NXP claims to get 30 Mpkts on two interfaces
15000 Kpkts per interface. but with less size packets like 64KB we are getting this value very less
