  • For the QorIQ LS1043ARDB what is the minimum power requirement of the chip if none of the cores are enabled?

  • What would be the incremental power increase for each mcu core being active?

  • From the datasheet it appears that for all 4 cores active, running at 1 GHz, and Platform freq = 300 MHz the typical power = 3.06 W for the cores.  Is it safe to assume that with 2 cores active the typical power consumed is 1.53 W?

This assumption is incorrect.

Please note that disabling a core corresponds to entering PW15 low power mode for it.

The savings in this mode are specified in the QorIQ LS1043A, LS1023A Data Sheet, Table 10. Low power mode savings.
