What is the best way to use Xen on TWR-LS1021A board?

Hi all,

I plan to run Xen hypervisor on TWR-LS1021A board.

We can install Xen easily into major Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Debial, Fedora and so on [1].

But I cannot find these distributions for TWR-LS1021A.

We can install Linux into this board from SDK 1.7 but it doesn't contain Xen.

Which is  better way to use Xen on this board, porting major distributions or using SDK 1.7?

Thanks,

Takumi

Although XEN generally supports ARM processors, it is not verified by Freescale and is not  included  Freescale QorIQ SDK.

For this reason, we cannot share any experience or recommendations for it, sorry. The recommended virtualization solution for LS10xx

family processors is KVM. A good document discussing various virtualization aspects and techniques for ARM has been published

by SILICA in collaboration with Freescale:

Instructions on working with KVM in QorIQ SDK can be found here:

KVM for ARM Architecture Users Guide and Reference

Have a great day,

Thank you for your kindness.

But I need to use Xen because the software I plan to use is not available KVM.

Thanks,

Takumi
