Segger has templates for adding support for new CPUs. Is this something that can be provided by NXP for LX2160A?
Otherwise, are there any other alternatives beside CodeWarrior to work as JTAG translator for a GDB Server to do kernel development?
Thank you for your reply. Since CodeWorrier is the only supported solution, we will purchase CodeWorrier TAP and probe tip.
The requirement for us is to use it to do mainline kernel development and debugging and use it via the latest GDB Server.
Are there any other software/hardware requirements that we will need in order to do JTAG kernel debugging through GDB Server on LX2160a chip?
